An Oracle Cloud Lead Finance Consultant is expected to understand the clients business, and various business processes, suggest the required improvements and map the requirements into an Oracle System (i.e., EBS/Cloud solution architecture). The mapping should be in alignment with the customers business environment and its objectives. Apart from this, consultancy service should be provided around the gaps identified (if any).
- Participate and manage the delivery of the Oracle Financials modules during Oracle ERP implementation projects.
- Organize and conduct formal workshops with the client displaying knowledge of the application and the business environment while defining the customer’s needs.
- Lead the solution design by optimal adoption of the Oracle solution.
- Configure the application according to the design decision.
- Design and test the integration with other systems.
- Assist junior consultants with the creation of detailed design specifications for product extensions.
- Lead the cut-over plan and support the data migration process from a functional point of view.
- Take the lead on understanding new products and/or new features.
- Demonstrate expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on complex customer engagements.
- Define implementation roadmap and produce project estimates with the Project Managers.
- Effectively collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders (onsite & offshore) for the efficient execution of the project.
- Depending on the need, managing multiple projects with the support of an extended team available offshore.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of professional experience in ERP implementation projects as a functional consultant.
- Proficiency in Oracle Financial applications such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA) modules.
- At least 4 end-to-end implementation projects experience; involved in customer requirement analysis, configuration, preparing functional design, test scripts and assisting technical team on the clarifications.
- Experience with at least 1 Fusion application implementation is mandatory.
- Capable of understanding, articulating, and addressing the business needs as well as pain points.
- Additional modules exposure, namely Expenses, FAH, RMCS, Projects, is an added advantage.
